All On, together with RMI and the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, advances clean energy enterprise support in Nigeria under the Energizing Women and Youth in Agrifood Systems (EWAS) Program
The Energizing Women and Youth in Agrifood Systems (EWAS) Program, led by the Global Energy Alliance in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is a transformative initiative designed to expand access to clean energy and unlock new economic opportunities for women and youth across Nigeria and Ethiopia. With a target of creating 17,000 jobs, particularly for young women, the program is driving inclusive growth in the agrifood sector.
This initiative combines the expertise of implementing partners All On and RMI to tackle persistent challenges, including unreliable electricity, limited access to productive‑use equipment, and barriers faced by women and youth in agriculture. Through the program, participating enterprises will receive support to deploy high‑impact clean energy solutions such as solar irrigation, cold storage, food‑processing equipment, and other technologies that increase productivity and reduce post‑harvest losses.
As the Venture-Building Partner in Nigeria, All On will work closely with a selected cohort of innovative businesses to strengthen strategic planning, operational efficiency, product development, fundraising readiness, and market expansion. This effort is designed to empower women and young people to enhance productivity and increase incomes within agrifood value chains.
“All On is proud to contribute to this ambitious initiative, which aligns with our commitment to accelerating energy access and driving inclusive economic growth,” said Sele Inegbedion, Head, All On Hub. “By enabling clean‑energy‑powered agricultural solutions, EWAS will catalyze a more resilient and equitable agrifood ecosystem in Nigeria.”
Together with its partners, All On remains committed to ensuring women and youth are positioned at the center of this clean‑energy‑driven agricultural transformation.
Updates on program milestones and stories of the entrepreneurs leading change across the sector will be shared as the initiative progresses
