Leading impact investment organisation, All On, has partnered with Energy Talent Company (ETC) to provide world-class training to graduates in the Niger Delta. The solar energy sector training, being offered online and in the Niger Delta, is open to graduates living in or indigenes of Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers States.

Energy Talent Company, an edu-tech company that recruits, trains, and out-hires solar talents across Nigeria, will equip successful candidates for future leadership in the renewable energy sector in Nigeria. Candidates will have a choice between a core technical track and a focus on supporting services. All candidates who successfully complete the program will be eligible for full-time employment with reputable solar energy companies in Nigeria.

Applications are open from Tuesday, 31st August 2021 to 7th October 2021.

Applicants must be:

  •  living in or indigenes of the Niger Delta (Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers States)
  • between ages 18 to 30
  • university graduates with a STEM background or a strong interest in support services in the renewable energy sector
  • holders of a discharge certificate from the compulsory National Youth Service Corps or those who will get their discharge certificate before November 2021
  • committed to building a career in the renewable energy sector

Successful candidates will complete the Careers and Skills Course, the Foundational Course, Foundational Assessment, and then go on to take a two-month-long training. This immersive program will equip them with the competencies needed to start careers in the solar energy sector.
